TC

Might not be there- the camaraderie anyhow
And the jokes preceding the smiles and the hi fives
The proximity is gone, a return a wonder now
A nostalgic ride still, my heart daily drives.

The streams have now dried on the cheeks
And their tragic path is all that one can trace
Clinging onto golden relics, the head now reeks
Begging, the descent to an endurable base.

Severed badly though, by people and space
I wish we were at least on the same page
Not all the acquaintance may we ever erase
Dismiss strongly, all pangs and emotions of rage.

Another moment yet again, my keystrokes dare
I still get flustered, with you in pain and all alone
Want to be beside you, and tender the best care
Badly, I crave to roll back the days long gone.
